In a bizarre partnership that defies traditional predictions, the game developer has revealed an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Disclosed
According to the official announcement, "A strange confrontation pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of forbidden ceremonies and terrifying transformations resonate through the darkness." The narrative introduces a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who charges the characters with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a hidden sect.
The adventure focuses on "strange trials and a monstrous enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Changes
The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser ends with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the adventure will acquire an special katana alongside multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
